About Us

 Mission
CorporateHistory.net LLC wants to help you preserve and profit from your history. We believe organizations suffer when their memory erodes, just as people do. Your institutional memory is a stranded asset until you put it to work. Then it becomes a powerful, cost-effective tool for marketing, community relations, and employee pride.
Principals
Founder and president Marian Calabro is a former publishing executive and active corporate communicator. She's the author of several award-winning business histories, as well as general histories such as The Perilous Journey of the Donner Party, and she has appeared on The History Channel. Vice president Bernard Libster comes from the advertising world, where he was a creative director and senior copywriter on corporate accounts. He is also a trade journalist and an accomplished storyteller who appears at such venues as the New Jersey Storytelling Festival and New York's Cornelia Street Café.
Process
From our headquarters in New Jersey, we carefully manage every aspect of your project.
- The process begins with assessing your goals, evaluating your audiences, and setting a schedule of deliverables.
- An experienced author handles the document research, oral history interviewing, precise project outlining, and writing.
- Our art director and/or Web designer handles the photo research, graphics, and production.
- We help you distribute your book or debut your video at in-house events--and also through Amazon, YouTube, and other popular channels, if you wish.
Occasionally, clients will choose to handle some of the creative steps in-house. We're happy to work with you in this way. For media projects, we partner with an Emmy Award-winning corporate production company. Should your project require other services, from museum-quality lobby displays to event planning, we'll provide them in conjunction with our hand-picked affiliates in those areas.
Style
If you want your history to be easily accessible and highly visual, you've come to the right place. Our approach is anecdotal but always accurate. We know how to shape raw, sprawling material into a readable, memorable narrative.
Uniqueness
Unlike some suppliers who offer a one-size-fits-all approach, we capture your organization's unique DNA. "What makes us tick? Why are we built to last? Where are we headed? Why should you do business with us?" The materials we create for you will answer those questions — and confer an authentic market differentiation that no million-dollar consultant can provide.
