CorporateHistory.net book wins Hermes Platinum Creative Award

Thrilled to announce our 30th anniversary book for Oakshire/DOLE® Mushrooms has earned highest platinum honors in the 2016 Hermes Creative Awards, one of only four print books to do so. The Hermes competition is administered by Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). Now in its 21st year of recognizing excellence in marketing and communications, AMCP reviews more than 10,000 entries a year and in recent years has donated $150,000 to charitable causes. It feels great to be part of that! A shout-out to Oakshire founder Gary Schroeder and his employees, and to the creative team: art director Christine Reynolds, photographer Sarah Anne Wharton, and the printers and binders at Acme Binding/HF Group for your creative contributions. A bit about Oakshire: The History of an Innovative Mushroom Company … it’s a colorful 64-page chronicle of how a 29-year-old bootstrapping entrepreneur built Oakshire from an upstart newcomer to an industry leader and DOLE® brand licensee. Gary called it “a classy product, very professional,” and we’re delighted that the Hermes judges agree.
