“CorporateHistory.net and Communication Design, Inc. were invaluable to us in the process of collecting our history and then presenting it to the world. Their experience with this kind of project guided us at every step, and their hard work brought it all to a successful conclusion. We are thrilled with the finished product, and reaction has been nothing but positive.”

Ellen Henderson, Interactive Communications Manager, Jackson Walker L.L.P., Dallas, TX

Everything is bigger in Texas, and the law firm Jackson Walker L.L.P. is a case in point. Based throughout Texas with a practice that spans the globe, Jackson Walker has spent 125 years playing a vital role in the growth and development of Texas business. When it was time to celebrate those years with a look back at firm milestones, CorporateHistory.net and Communication Design, Inc., partnered to develop an interactive timeline that uses videos and pop-up features to highlight important events.

This decade-by-decade timeline features:

  • 25 video clips of Jackson Walker partners talking about landmark cases and the firm’s unique culture
  • Pop-up articles and anecdotes for readers who want to delve deeper
  • Newly discovered historical photos from the archives of the Texas Energy Museum, Dallas Public Library, the LBJ Library, and other regional sources

Writers: Heidi Tyline King and Marian Calabro
Designer: Roy McKelvey

To celebrate its first 125 years, Jackson Walker called on CorporateHistory.net for a special Web-based history timeline with videos. This montage is the introductory page.

Each timeline panel is a blend of facts, anecdotes, and video clips with Jackson Walker partners.

Founding partner John Robertson became general counsel for the Dallas Times Herald in 1905. To illustrate such timeline entries, CorporateHistory.net turned to the Dallas Public Library for historical images like this one. It depicts delivery of the Times Herald to remote parts of Texas in that era.
