Salem Five Bank in Salem, MA, hired CorporateHistory.net a few years ago to update its 150-year history book to a 160-year book, a wise move since so much had changed in the decade since publication. Part of the update involved the acquisition of Stoneham Savings Bank. Wisely, the Bank’s leaders asked us to interview people who had worked at Stoneham for years (as you’ll see in the adjacent photo). We’re honored that Salem Five has called us in again, this time to chronicle the recently acquired Georgetown Bank (branded as a division of Salem Five Bank). This new material will be gathered in a brochure to be tipped into the existing book. TIP: Follow Salem Five’s lead and keep up with changes in your history as they occur. Wish more clients had this long-range perspective!
